In late 2021 the Watertown Chamber implemented a change to the Watertown Bucks program: Watertown Bucks Gift Cards. Whether you need gifts for family, friends, teachers, coaches, co-workers, bosses, or bonuses for your employees, Watertown Bucks Gift Cards are always a great gift. They are a great way to support the local economy and support the business community.
Watertown Bucks may be used at any participating Chamber Member business including many of your favorite restaurants and retail stores!
Tips for using your Watertown Bucks
Know your balance - Each business' point of sale system accepts the cards differently. Know your balance before you spend by calling 1-833-558-1088 or by visiting www.getmybalance.com
Know where you can spend - Only registered Chamber Member businesses can accept Watertown Bucks gift cards. Go to www.watertownsd.com for a complete list of businesses where you can utilize your funds.

Watertown Bucks are available in any denomination (starting at $10 up to $500 per card) at the Watertown Area Chamber of Commerce, located at 1 East Kemp Avenue. Watertown Bucks Gift Cards do not expire and are not reloadable. We encourage anyone placing a large order to contact our office 24-48 hours ahead of their pick up day. Payments may be made via cash, check , or card. Card payments are subject to 3% processing fee. Chamber Members may request to be invoiced for Bucks purchases.
Place your Bucks order by calling our office at 605-886-5814 or via email to coc@watertownsd.com. If you would like the Chamber staff to prepare your large bucks order, (place in card sleeves and label) that service is available for an additional $25 fee.

How do I accept Watertown Bucks
at my place of business?
Watertown Bucks Gift Cards are non-reloadable Visa based gift cards. Businesses process the Watertown Bucks as normal credit card transactions. This program uses a closed-loop system, meaning merchants must be active members who have registered to participate to accept Watertown Bucks as a form of payment. There are no changes required to current POS systems to accept Bucks.
Registration is very easy, your business will fill out the Merchant Enrollment Form and process a card holder not present transaction. It's so easy, you'll think you're doing it wrong!
